Finanz und Wirtschaft: The Swiss fintech market has learned to grow internationally fast!

In a recent article in the Swiss financial newspaper Finanz und Wirtschaft I was asked about the health and strategies of the Swiss fintech ecosystem. These are my insights:

🌎 On one hand, the Swiss fintech market in terms of funding rounds and new startups is stagnating, a sign of maturity
🌎 On the other hand, it is internationalizing as the UK fintech Revolut is expanding its presence in Switzerland, and Swiss AI fintech Unique is going to the 🇺🇸

Having worked with dozens of international fintechs coming to Switzerland, a successful fintech strategy entails the following:

💸 CLIENTS: Focus on the B2B sector
💸 GROWTH: Have a clear internationalization strategy
💸 PRODUCT: Have a mature product ready as the time for co-developments is coming to an end
